David Rosales

I have been a professional dancer for almost 30 years.  I have studied all forms of dance from Los Angeles to New York City.   As a teenager I attended classes at Tremaine and the Edge dance studios in L.A.  I was also a student at the Orange County High School of Performing Arts.  After moving away from California to work in Japan, I relocated to New York where I continued to train at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway.

In 2004 I became the co-owner and director of The City Performing Arts Academy in Visalia, CA.  I taught jazz, tap, hip-hop, musical theater, jumps and turns, lyrical and contemporary.  I also choreographed for the schools dance company which competed and performed throughout the state.  Former students have gone on to perform with Justin Bieber, Jordan Sparks and Macy Gray.  They have also been accepted into training programs including ABT, Alvin Ailey, and The Rock.  Also they have been featured in Motion Pictures, National Tours, as well as work for Disneyland, DisneyWorld, Tokyo Disney, Universal Japan, and Royal Caribbean Productions.

In 2010 I accepted a contract to work for Royal Caribbean International. For the past four years I have traveled the world onboard Royal Caribbean ships most recently on the Allure of the Seas, the worlds biggest cruise ship, performing in the Broadway musical Chicago.

I have recently relocated to Fort Lauderdale. I am currently on staff at North Brwoard Preperatory School as an instructor for their dance program. I am a guest artist at Broward Center for the Perfoming Arts, where I have helped create the dance portion of a new program for performers. (Currently in its second session). Also I work for Royal Caribbean as a rehearsal choreographer of small projects.
